God damn those Christmas Games sucked at least Golden State vs LAC was good
Not to mention the jerseys looked like shit. They looked like too small and plain t-shirts.

I remember Adidas talking last year about trying to introduce those jerseys. I hope the public outcry was enough to change their minds. I remember at one point the announcer said that the terrible games might be partly the jerseys' fault since the players weren't used to sleeves for the most part. A bit of a stretch, but I'm inclined to agree. The best comment I saw was "they look like the top to a children's pajama set"
Look I'm not selling anything that doesn't have my jizz on it. I don't care how much is offered.

Cavs are looking to trade Bynum, good guy trying to find a team who will take a guy who makes $12 million and has no knees.

And this is why the Heat will win a 3rd championship in a row, even without Lebron they're still able to match up with almost any team.

The whole Bynum thing smells. From the get go with that structure you knew they were looking to deal him at some point during the season. They were never gambling on him to become a center piece to that team but to become a trade asset. Fuck the cavs. If they think bron is going to return to that three ring service they are delusional. Dan Gilbert should be checked for early signs of dementia.

Horford out for the season.  Atlanta's faint hopes are dimmed and the East just gets more lopsided.  Ugh.

The Thunder didn't have Westbrook and still beat the Rockets by 30. I could see Bynum going to Dallas or Detroit  soon.

word is the Heat & Clippers want him. I think he's (potentially) too good of a player to play behind 2 other bigs like Griffin & Jordan and wouldn't like to be 3rd fiddle, regardless of how fragile his knees are. Miami would be interesting tho as far his "lack of motivation" to play ball I'm sure a potential 3rd ring and maybe even a possible starting role down the line (depending on health & performance) should reinvigorate him. should be interesting to see what happens to him wherever he goes

At this point in his career you don't want him playing more than 20 mins a game anyways. Playing behind dj and Blake would be a non issue and Miami likes to play bosh at center with their small ball philosophy. In both cases those offenses are so potent he would be a 5th option in most rotations. Miami needs him for boards and the clips need him in crunch time to make free throws. But this is all if dude wants to play ball opposed to bumping Trina and building computers while working from home.

I'm confused about what's going with my Raptors are we tanking or not? defeated Chicago last night IN Chicago one of only 2 teams to beat the Thunder in OKC swept the Knicks home and home and with a win tonight vs Indiana we'll be at a respectable 14-14 on the season which sadly is upper echelon for the Eastern Conference.

Bynum's 26 years old for god's sake. Not even in the prime of his career and you want to hold him to under 20 minutes?

Bynum could be a top 5 big man in the NBA, but his work ethic and body need serious work. If 80 million can't light a fire under the guy, nothing will.

Big tree falls hard. He's not a Kareem or Hakeem body type built to last. He's a BIG man. Dudes like shaq come once in a life time. The only 7 footer in the league right now playing productive minutes is roy hibbert and hes more of a defensive specialist. Bynum's been in the league 8 years already and has shown over that time that he's not guaranteed a full season. So yeah as a hypothetical coach or GM for a contending team in a regular season 20-22 mins seems about right in a time share with a sub 7 foot center that can run the floor and keep up with smaller line ups that that the majority of the league runs. If you actually watch basketball you know two things. One, the big man is dead and no one has post moves. In this day in age Bynum is a luxury and not a necessity.

As for the raptors, who is this tem and what have they done with the Toronto proffesional basketball team. Big win tonight against the pacers. It's clear that psycho t is putting this team on his back. All jokes aside they staryed play great team ball once the ball started to move after the black hole formerly known as Rudy gay departed. Can't wait for the hornets to sign him. I have to say though the raps are getting a little lucky here. They arent taking the most efficient shots. Sometimes the ball goes down.

Rudy Gay is going to Sign with Charlotte?? Despite playing much improved team ball your'e still going to get 2 or 3 Derozan plays that make you scratch your head that's just his style of play Terrence Ross aswell

On an unrelated noted Anyone else think Danny Granger should just go away? dude is starting to stunt Stephenson's progression and I don't like that becuase A. I have on my fantasy team B. I want Indy to be as sharp as possible going to the playoffs so they can send Lebron and co packing. Stephenson who leading the league with the most triple doubles this season (3) hasn't hit double digit scoRing in the last two games and that's pretty much since Grangers been back    >:(

I was implying that Charlotte makes a lot of poor business decisions and throwing money at Rudy Gay seems to be the next domino to fall.

As far as Granger goes I have no problem with him staying on the team. They seemed to be a shooter shy despite playing at the level that they do. Indy tends to have a problem putting up points when they have just two guys who can score regularly and efficiently. Lance is great but he's one of those guys who needs the ball in his hands to do anything and regularly does dumb stuff that frustrates the hell out you. Total irrational confidence guy. Ideally they are looking for a loul deng or Jamal Crawford. Bulls think they can keep deng and the clips have plenty of shooters and are looking for someone with size. Maybe Minnesota realizes that they can't quite push over the top and deal Kevin Martin and piecies for grangers expiring.

I think you may be thinking of the Lance Stephenson of 2011-12 his maturity and on court decision making has improved vastly and let's face it DG is not the player he once was but is still convinced he is. If he didn't go down Paul George wouldn't have excelled to super stardom. I'd rather develop a young 2-way player in  Stephenson as much as possible than give some of his minutes to an injury prone shoot-first guy that reached his ceiling 5 years ago. If I'm Larry Bird DG is gone by Feb which will probably happen.

Bird has already openly stated his disdain for granger. It will come as a surprise to no one if he gets unloaded. Expiring contracts are worth their weight in gold. Until then you should at least see if he can conform to a role playing role. Something granger will have to get used to as no smart GM in the league looks at granger and thinks, "FRANCHISE GUY."

I will contest that Stephenson is making huge strides and becoming a better player but his shot selection is still questionable albeit he is shooting in the high forties. Take a look at this chart:

On the left side he likes to jack up 3's and continue to not make them. You can't do the same things and expect different results. In the painted area away from the basket he forces his shot. Him needing to develop a floater goes without saying. The mid range is always a gamble and the ability to make the worst shot in the game makes or breaks a two gaurd. He's definitely not Kobe. He's a good player but not an exceptional player but I can definitely see, over time, lance becoming a commodity. Definitely a valuable contract at the moment.

They're just one of those teams that doesn't have a superstar just yet but they're just playing extremely good basketball. The players brought over in the Gay trade seem to fit Casey's system a lot better, not to mention Lowry and Johnson have been fantastic so far this season for them.
