Well the teams split the season series 2-2. We have a better overall record, better road record, have FAR better offensive numbers (Chicago ranks an embarrassing 30th in scoring), and are a much deeper team in my opinion. Bulls just have better defense.

So how is Chicago cut and dry "better" than the Toronto Raptors? please state your case good sir.

I don't think at the beginning of this season anyone thought the Raptors would be in the position they are right now. I didn't, at least. And I don't know about franchise building but things feel a bit more positive here than they have recently. Get these guys some playoff experience and see how we do next year. See if we hold on to Lowry, though.

To be honest I haven't been a Raptors fan since the second round exit in 2001.

Yall need to stop sleeping on my Raptors....that is all
[close]

You can pretty much sleep on any team in the East not named the Pacers or Heat.
[close]
And the Raptors aren't even getting slept on this season, especially compared to recent years.
[close]

The ESPN panel not even mentioning Toronto and putting Chicago in third when we're ranked ahead of them is pretty disrespectful to me Duel: DeMar DeRozan versus Stephen Curry

Welcome to ESPN. They will always give more attention to the big name and big market teams. Its no surprise that they talk about how much the Knicks suck rather than focusing on the Wizards or Raptors. But it doesn't matter anyways, there are teams in the West that aren't even seeded in a playoff spot that are better than the third best team in the east.

As a Laker fan I honestly do not see how they would let Phil Jackson slip away from them and go to the Knicks. He's engaged to Jeannie Buss, he doesn't really want to leave the city of LA, the lakers are about to enter a rebuilding process with a lottery pick this year and a hell of a free agent class in 2015 so he would be primed to start his legacy in the front office. Now if he does go to NY, the lakers are going to be competing against the recruitment of Phil Jackson when trying to get those free agents in 2015. Stupid on the Lakers part if they don't swoop in and bring Phil back to a front office role.

OKC just shitted on your Bulls at home..... What did Toronto do you say? oh we're just ONE of only 7 teams to beat OKC IN OKC no big deal.

You're delusional if you think a team with the 30th ranked offense can go anywhere after the second round. No team has ever won a championship while posting the leagues worst offense this is why a Thibbs led team will never win a title. You HAVE to have the offensive firepower to come back from double digit deficits ala San Antonio Miami OKC to win it all.
