I don't get it.   If he had got on adidas I doubt you would care at all.

Hey, chillout...

I'm into it. Emerica looks like they're coming back and if NB can steal money out of Nike's pocket, that's great.
Side note: I saw more kids wearing the adi ease's and new Herman's this weekend than any other shoes.

Fuck it. If NB makes a skate shoe that looks like their running shoe, but skates like a half cab, I'll blow a load (of money to buy a pair).
Like Daewon said: if skateboarding is a ten story building, Rodney is on eleventh floor.

i cant sleep and i just sat here and read all 10 pages of this bullshit to realize that people are regular. if you dont like something, dont buy it. its that simple. and if you're scared that your core brands will disappear, and if you are that fucking worried about it, buy as many as you can while they last. who cares about what some new skateboard shoes will do to the other companies. no matter what there will always be a board and some shoes that fucking work for you and that you can still do what you love with. whether or not theres a big ass ugly N on the side or a sideways golden e, you will still be able to skate. a big new corporation wont ruin the fun of skating. skating is never going to disappear, quit having nightmares. think happy things.

Read that Jenkem article again. You obviously did not get the message.
[close]
oh i read it, and i agree with it. im just saying whether or not your favorite company is still around, you can still skate and have fun regardless of what other reasons people skate for, fashion, money and other regular shit.
[close]

Of course, no matter what, we're always gonna have fun skating. That doesn't mean we shouldn't care and say,"fuck it, whatever."
[close]

i agree, cause i never said that

You literally said,"who cares what some new skateboard shoe will do to other companies."

You may have not said,"Fuck it, whatever" word for word, but you might as well have.

id be just as/if not more bummed. i dont support any skateboarder who aligns themself with a corporation that will take money away from skater owned companies

skating is all about choosing your outfit very deliberately, going out in public. looking super sick. and then riding your board a little bit

They look like Dr J's. I had a million pairs of those things in the 90s. So good for skating.

Yeah, those are just SB classics all the way through, with an N instead of a swoosh.

Claiming they are SB all the way is like none of you have ever seen the Puma Clyde, or the Adidas Stan Smith. The silhouette is decades older than the SB line and older than early Blazers.

slow your roll guys, those pics are from a lifestyle line in china. They have nothing to do with New Balance Numeric and skateboarding. That shit doesn't drop till 2013 so chill. In the mean time buys some core brands!
