Cons Sizing
« on: December 24, 2012, 11:43:54 AM »
Just a quick question on sizing for Cons.  I have heard they run a bit big, should I size up or down or what when buying them.  I am normally a 10.5 in adidas (Lucas specifically) and an 11 in Janoskis. What size is recommended for Cons, specifically KA One vulcs.

I wear a 10 in Vans, I tried on some KA One Vulcs a few days ago and I needed a 9.

I've got brick shaped feet so I run true to size on cons.

Half size down for non-skate chucks (less padding)

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I have a real headache figuring out the sizing on new Chuck Taylor All Star Pro Skate. I wear 11.5(US) in Sk8-Hi and 12(US) in dylan slip-on. What do you guys think? And what do you think of that shoe's overall perfomance?

I'd go with a size 11, and I personally wouldn't get a pair unless they are suede.

I always buy 11s in general, but I got the Kenny andersons in 10.5, they fit well but they left the arches of my feet sore everytime i skated them, so i stopped wearing them, they still had some life in them too.

I'm a 9 in most shoes and I got a pair of cts in 8.5. I started skating them recently and they're killing my toes. Might just stick with 9's next time

I could wear a whole size down for sure. I just can't skate cons though.

i have only ever skated the cts and really liked the fit of the shoe, are all their models roughly the same fit as the cts?

Most CONS fit and feel really similar, but shape wise and fit wise, the CTS is the longest and most narrow model that I've skated from their line up. I highly recommend the Pappalardo, Trapasso, and the Trapasso II. All are quality shoes that skate great. I've also heard great things about the KA-one (cupsole and vulc editions), but I have yet to skate them.

I've paid anywhere from $22-$39 for all of the models that I've bought. Keep your eyes peeled, you can definitely find the CTS for less than $50.

What size are you?

thanks for the reply dude

iv really like the cts, so much so that i haven't skated another shoe for over a year, they just seem to break in straight awa last bloody ages and fit my feet really well also the board feel is really nice!

usually i could find a pair for under ?40 in the uk but iv spent the past few days having a proper look with no luck, I'm a size 10 cts btw

although iv spotted quite a few of the papalardos for cheeps, but they look a little bulkier than then cts? should i give them a try in a size 10?

haha I'm such a wreck when it comes to ordering shoes online

They're actually a really good shoe. A few years back, I wasn't really interested in their shoes, but after trying out the Pops - I was sold!
I wear a 10 in the CTS/trapasso/pappalardo, buttttt some people wear a half size bigger in the Pappalardos compared to the CTS. I'd go with a size 10, personally.

Don't worry about it. CCS had a bunch of colorways for $30 each last fall. But a lot of models are canvas now. Regardless - links:

I ordered some Cons off a US site, had no problems, shipping was minimal.

If they don't fit, ebay will eat them up.
