i got the BA's a few days ago. I wore them around for a couple days and only got to skate them for like an hour as im still tryna run thru my P-Rods before I really start shredding in them. despite seeming like a "bulky" shoe in pictures, they're actually a very lightweight shoe. even lighter than my P-Rods. they have the same lunarlon ortho-lite insole as the p-rods as well and beneath that a very thin gel layer that sits on top of the foam lunarlon footbed, so they're super comfortable on your feet. the breathability on these is crazy too. when driving in my car with the AC cranked up, i can lift my toes and feel the air flow thru the shoe. same when im outside skating really fast or feel a nice breeze. the thickness of the sole is somewhere between the P-Rod's & the Reynolds and seems to take impact pretty well (only got to jump down a set a couple times).
My only conern is how long this shoe will last. I'd definitely consider them to be one of if not the best "chill shoes" in skateboarding right now but the upper is so thin and lightweight it makes me question how durable it will be. Still, that's to be determined after I actually get to skate them for a while. im not the type to skate a shoe for a couple days and say "it seems pretty durable" or "the suede looks rough only after a couple sessions so i dont think itll last", because both of those statements can be wrong in the long run. Ima only speak on a shoe's durability after i actually skate them so we'll see how it goes after i put in several hours of skating on em.
