Anyone skate the lunarlon janoskis? I've had a half dozen pairs of the vulcanized ones. Any improvement?

Its a more comfortable Janoski. More padding and more support. Thats about all. They feel good.

The mids haven't come out yet but the lows recently came out. The lunarlon sole is awesome. Should be a winner.

Lunar Janoski Mid... Looks promising!

These look really good. And I just saw this morning they have the Koston Mid available on the Nike webstore.

Can anyone give me some feedback on the Lunar Gato? It caught my eye at the shop on Friday night. I tried it on and it felt decent enough. Maybe a little less heel lock than I was hoping for, but it felt nice and snug how I like. But I am curious how they skate?

like you said, they fit nice and snug to your feet which I liked. The midsole is a good balance of thicker in the heel and thinner in the front. I never had sore feet while skating in em, but the boardfeel was all there. The sole is pretty grippy and keeps its shape well. Downsides are durability. Nike's quality of suede continues to go downhill, and this shoe isn't an exception. I ripped through in a couple sessions but you may have better luck (i tend to go through shoes pretty quickly). The screen printed layer on the toe doesn't really do much to prolong durability where you flick either. If your easy on skate shoes though, I'd recommend em. as long as you don't mind supporting big bad Nike...

definitely a deal, but the one i went to near the barclays center in bk recently only had the volt colorway, and weird raver colored gatos i had never seen before, and some gravis shoes. the gravis were like 15 bucks so i picked up every one i could find in my size.

I would figure in the long run, Nike would test out some sort of different materials for P-Rod's shoe. I would like to see a sued version or whatever material the Janoski's are with that toe cap material around it. I think the shoe would be pretty sick.

^ Ive skated mine a a few times they hold up but i don't like how the swoosh is so far up on the shoe because the corner of it is basically right on the ollie hole. Minor cosmetic thing but still. The sole & flywire make it super supportive but at the same time the upper is actually really flexible & lightweight. the texture makes it look like some weird material but it feels & wears away just like suede.

Here's what mine look like as you can see I colored in the part where the swoosh was worn off. I still prefer to skate the 7's but i got these in rotation. I might've skated em 3-4 times but I wore em around a lot and even hooped in them a couple times. Boardfeel is kinda right down the middle. thicker than a dunk but not as thick as something like the BA's or Reynolds. Well, the heel is kinda on the thicker side but its much much thinner in the forefoot. As far as comfort is concerned I drove from Arizona to Illinois and back in these shoes (i did 15 hours straight by myself on the way back) and my feet never ached or felt sore or anything so there's that

I haven't skated those prod's but have had several pairs of ba's and just walking around in the prod's they feel considerably thicker.
