whenever Nike has a new model they always seem to choose the ugliest colorway as the first run. e.g: prod 8, lunar janks, one shot, etc etc. luckily the later colors save the day. I hope that's the case with the lunarclave cause those have potential imo.

I just ordered the new black/black Lunar Janoskis thinking they were suede. Turns out its some sort of Goretex/One Shot synthetic. I wasnt planning on skating them anytime soon anyways, but does anyone know what the material is?

there is no way they can charge more than 70 bucks for the GT Pro. It's baiscally a Bruin with a Stan Smith toe.

(That's a very good thing, btw.)

Yup! Those. I thought nubuck was superfine suede, but I guess I was wrong. Super stoked on these.

I just started skating them, 3 sessions in. It's not the most "locking" heel but the shoe fits really snug in general so I don't think that's gonna be an issue. I guess my answer would be indifferent then. No problems here and I don't lace up tight, at all.

I like the shoe so far, fits good and the rubbery toe piece is not too grippy like I thought it would be. Good to go straight out of the box.

Metsuri - thanks for the great feedback, I appreciate it. The close fit sounds perfect and exactly what I'm looking for and prefer. And agreed, as long as the shoe fits snug, the heel lock usually takes care of itself.

My local doesn't have the Oneshot in stock so I have to rely on mail-order. Thanks again.

Not by much. It's like a bruin low-cut with Blazer upper.

He wanted his shoe to be a hybrid of his SB models.

Every sample I've seen so far looks pretty bad in the toe box area. It seems shapeless.

Those are fucking sick. Too bad that shoe is a tad too chunky for me.

Idk why they make the Ghost, Satire, Team Edition 2, Rabona, etc... I understand they want to flood the market, but it doesn't seem worth sacrificing quality for mass production. 6 out of 10 pairs of Nike SB I've gotten recently have been defective or just crappy feeling. (I'm not gonna lie, I'm skating black/gum Janoskis now.) I just wish it was like 2010 when every pair was really well made.
