I  mentioned this a while back but...

Are nike using more synthetic uppers on their dunks than before? The last two pairs I've bought have been 70-100% artificial.

Not a terrible thing but man-made fabrics seem to never really mold to your feat.

It seems like break-in is harder with synthetics but they don't seem to devolve into slippers in the way that leather can.

Nearly all of the new Nikes are at least partly synthetic. (See my earlier rant.) My Quartersnack Dunks are pretty nice but they will never beat the OG Weigers. I can't even skate most Janoskis now because the material is so shoddy. I only go for "premium" suede ones. Almost all of Nikes shoes for every sport are now sparsely paneled or "printed" and synthetic. Minimal materials, maximum profits. Look at the new Prod 8 and the Lunarglide 6 for comparative examples.

Yeah, my current dunks looked like real leather on the web but they're 100% something else. I'm finding they don't breath too well. May have to dig something else out of the shoe hoard.

weird that BA wasn't really featured in that, yet he had a flash shoe

His shoe is the R/R model, the rest are the skate ones.

No idea why no footage of him in it.

Is that not him doing the front board on the electrical box in that video?

I just don't think Nike is selling that many BAs. At least not at full price. It's a cool shoe but I think the price vs materials equation on them is way out of whack. Production costs are probably 2/3s of a Dunk's.

I've seen a total of two pairs of these worn by skaters in the wild.

I've lots of people skating them, Im no nike hater but the production costs them a fraction of the price they sell it for.  there is no way they need to charge near $100 for that shoe and if thats what causes them to stop making it its a shame

I keep checking Ross and Marshalls. I've only seen the Neon Yellow One Shots and Braatas. CCS seems to have cleared the BAs out - they only have size 8 and smaller.

Stopped by the other Ross near me and they had the one shots and a pair of janoskis $35. Size 13 and 14. Is there a thread to post outlet finds ?

The QS dunk seems to be in a pretty good quality overall. Much better than the rest of the recent dunks i've had. The sued is super sick and the details are on point. All other recent dunks was shit quality wise - the croc on the diamond dunk is pretty bad and nothing like the original.

Not sure if these already dropped but didnt remember seeing them:

Saw a post said that these from 2012 could re-release this November:
