I'm sure what ever wood they use it'll be good. I can't see these guys skimping on quality.

I'll be a bit gutted if they go Chinese like Palace and Polar. Hopefully generator.

But not over here which is a bit shit. That being said, the last Polar board I had wasn't terrible.

That's quite a shame. Are they DSM or something else?

Palace is DSM. I though Polar was some German woodshop?

I know Palace is DSM. Polar used to be made by MDCN, I wonder who is making the boards now.

that would explain cheap prices for polar in the trap hometown shop.
trap boards are fine for 2 weeks and then tear apart

Polar was made at Trap, don't know if it still is, but I think so? Almost every shop board and smaller company around my area is made at Trap, and its usually super good. Can't really recognize the tearing apart thing?

Polar is Trap/Mdcn in Europe and Generator in the US. Palace/Landscape is DSM.
I dont like the trap wood and shape.

Never heard anything bad about polar boards , would suprise me too if Alv was fucking around with bad wood when you see how hands on he is on everything about the company

And whats up with all the hate on chinese and mexican board producers ? China for one is one of the bigger producers of everything in the world and alot of it is high quality . Alot of jokes , but most of it is good

Never really heard that much good about Made in America ?  I mean ford was always a shit car

That first batch of Polar boards that was available in the US was the MDCN wood. The one I had was pretty sturdy, good quality wood. The shape was a little off though. As far as the US-Made Polar boards, I don't like them. I had a couple of Hjalte's boards and they were so so flat. The nose and tail weren't arched high enough either. They got soggy pretty quickly. Generator has two different wood qualities to pick from, I wonder if Polar is using the lower quality wood.
