I'm pretttttty sure the brostyle quote is satirical. And the Dill advice is more than likely jokingly ironic. But Dill also says he hates most white people, and is a near middle-aged trendy hipster, so who knows what is serious or not.

there's no doubt there's some sort of adolescent brain washing going on, and it's all for the sake of trying to be cool. Just look at these kids, they all look the same, skate the same, act the same, etc, and it's all based on what Dill and the Supreme camp label as "cool" in the skate world. They're being taught, whether consciously or subconsciously, what pants they should wear, what shoes they shouldn't wear, etc. Right now they could be hating on Diamond and shit, but if Dill or Dylan wore a diamond hoodie, I guarantee one of these kids would probably do the same. that's some cult follower level shit.
And that's not saying Dill is the one to blame necessarily, he just does what he wants, it's the little FA kids that follow everything he does that are the ones to blame. Now that I think about it, it's more of an idol worshiping kinda thing than a cult leader kinda thing. idk man I'm tired and sociology isn't really my thing
