im pretty jealous they got to do that. ive always wanted to throw from a professional mound, try to get a one hopper from the outfield to home, slide into home, and most of all, pretend someone grounds to me at short, barehand it and try to throw a rocket to first. sigh, someday...

This would've made a lot more sense if anything in a baseball stadium looked appealing to skate, like an art museum or something. You could've set up all those spots (benches, jumpramps, etc.) in a warehouse minus the whatever amount of stairs that was. Just a concept obviously thought up by somebody that doesn't skate. "Oh look we broke into Yankee stadium to skate how sick is THAT!!!!"

But seriously, I would be psyched if there was something like this at Wrigley Field. Except they would just ollie over puddles of piss on the ground and get shitfaced on warm Old Style.

zoo york has one of the worst marketing campaigns in the history of skateboarding for sure. I have no idea what their brand identity is or what the company is about at all other than cringe inducing failed attempts at going mainstream/selling out and tryhard "urban" graphics.

chaz ortiz spraying his own name on the zoo york banner at the end of this montage is probably the perfect metaphor for this trainwreck
