BA has always come off as such a level-headed dude to me, and this interview proves it. Hyped for him/this. Thanks for posting the interview.

Kinda suprised by that too , but maybe she is over it ?  no reason to force herself onto her friends brand new company  just to leach money out of it when maybe she isnt serius about skating anymore

Lol, it always blows my mind that jenkem mag is the first publication getting an interview about stuff like this and not thrasher or tsm or transworld or skateboarder, what the fuck are you people doing exactly?

Good for those three guys. Its nice of BA to be diplomatic and not throw anybody under a bus, classy. BA and alex give more than they get from girl and austyn does a lot of shit on his own. those dudes got what it takes to do the art direction and make skate vids and little clips. Itll be interesting to see what 3d turns out like. I hope dill and ave get their shit together and get their company running too.

What a cool dude.  This made me especially happy:

Are you still going to be riding for Fourstar clothing?
That was something cool to talk about with Carroll, when I was thinking about doing 3d, I was so happy he was like, "You still wanna do Fourstar?!" I was like,"Of course!! Please!" I love it there. I love those guys

I met BA when I lived in Louisiana, but I didn't interview him for Jenkem, this one was done by Ian, one of the main dudes behind Jenkem.

"I just wanna go on a trip in a car with my two homies and we?re gonna film everything and skate ditches and just have fun"

I love that this is one of his reasons. People are a little tired of the overproduced and overdone projects by big name brands. I think most people just want to see their favorite dudes go out and have fun on their skateboards, glad to hear BA has the same attitude on his industry end. This makes me instantly more pumped for anything 3d.

it's ironic that the only downsides to being at girl that he mentioned were the same ones mentioned by mike, rickk, et al for leaving plan b. the hectic touring, filming and burnout. weird. also, elissa is surfing a lot and doing some shit with gnarhunters already. also also, i'm sure she's got her eye on things.

brian anderson is one of the best humans to ever touch a skateboard and i can't wait to see the connecticut footage.

***no one gonna comment on Alex holding a fire island pines book in the photo? Gay you slipping. (for the record, you can have Alex, but BA is my future ex-baby daddy. fall back ho)

Sick interview, sounds like he's got a good idea of what he wants to do differently.

I also want people to skate where they live, I think of Eastern Exposure and stuff like that. People skated in Philly and skated in their hometowns. I want Alex and Austyn to be happy in LA and go out and film tricks in like a schoolyard there. I’ll skate NY and be in SF all the time, film there hanging out with Brad and all of us will skate where we are comfortable.

And yeah, that's saying something that Jenkem got this first..

I would certainly watch a Skate mental / 3D video.  Too bad the boards will be the same garbage I'm not going to skate.

To clarify, not a 3D Skate mental video, I don't need Zigram's expressionless face coming out of my television.
I'm posting from my blackberry wtf?!?!?

Also weird because Carrol mentioned that stress as why he didn't have a full part in Pretty Sweet.  I wonder...

Im buying a board as soon as I possibly can.

Smart to keep it small and have a grass roots type movement.

This is gonna be tight.
