Just started this show again and it's a great piece of work, I tell ya what.  It's a shame a lot of people never gave it a chance.

People avoided it because it's the south. I remember someone saying "I'm not watching that, I bet George Bush likes it." Shame because it had a better handle on the way different people interact with each other than any other show. And there were actual characters unlike bitchass family guy.

Honestly I remember the first time I watched it when I was a kid and thought "um ok..this show is nothing but a bunch of redneck out- of- shape dudes that just drink beer and say "yup" all day."   It took me a few years to realize how awesome that is.

The show was pretty obviously part social commentary, just like Bevis and Butthead was (except King of the Hill wasn't as reliant on novelty). It's kind of a bummer that so many people were too stupid to recognize that.

I wish there was a good youtube clip of Hank getting raped by the dolphin.

There was one where Hank mistakenly buys crack thinking its some super fishbait formula for fishing. The fish were like jumping in the boat wanting more. He ended up going back for more and got arrested I think. Its been a long time ago but that was my favorite episode ever...

Same. One of my favs as well. As well as the porno episode with the "Cuffs and Collars" DVD and his dispute with Arlen video.

Too many damn good episodes.

Finding the tattoo, epic.

KOTH is definitely an all-time favorite of mine.  Peggy used to annoy the shit out of me.  I remember watching them back in the day when they were still new and years ago watching it from start to finish when Netflix still had it.  SO good.

On a side note, is it just me or do Mangione and Neckface look kind of alike?
