Best broom

I need a broom head that I can strap onto my backpack (I do have a car, but a lot of times I go skating without it). I already have a Vileda broom handle that can be disassembled into 3 pieces (fitting nicely on or in a backpack), now I'd like the best broom head for outside sweeping. I'm looking into push brooms, but they seem pretty heavy and unable to remove dust efficiently (which can ruin your griptape pretty quickly).
