"that's my prosthetic eye"

I've always wanted to learn this trick on a hip. somehow, I've done them on flat but it's always been a matter of catching and whipping the last 180 around.

Blackout is a video Satva made for Judah skateboards featuring different cities and beats he made. I really doubt many people have seen this video, but it was one of my first ones I ever owned. I think it was a video that wasn't shit on in Big Brother so I thought it was a good idea. I think it was a good influence on me. Never like the shit made for kids and don't know why a kid would want to. I mean idiot kids, sure I guess.

I've seen Blackout, he also made a short-lived video magazine called "Streets" that focused on different cities for each issue, I think...?

And yeah, the switch f/s 270/360 kickflips & nollie backside 270/360 kickflips were so dope. The switch f/s one was coined the "El Niño flip", I don't think many people remember that one though, haha. He made the Emerica Marc Johnson 2's look so ill. I wish him, Strubing, Barley & even Chad Bartie were kept on Emerica and had parts in This Is Skateboarding.

I once got drunk and told Justing Strubing that video woulda been so much better if they kept him and the ATV guys on for that video and he seemed flattered, heh. Damn, and if MJ stayed on the video woulda been even MORE amazing. OH and Paul Machnau, I guess  :P

Satva's gorgeous switch f/s flip is at the end of this part, for any who are unaware!

EDIT: Also... that back foot on the front crook in my first post. So good!

Hmmmm Nice Bike

I remember that from a while back but always figured it had to be some kind of local name (well to an extent that's still what it is). I remember seeing it in magazine photo captions used for sequences of I think Satva but also I want to say Peter Bici.

I'd trade anything for doing 'em like this, or at least witness one live.
The '80s were the worst period. You had these horrible pop bands growing their hair and calling themselves metal.

He did and he had a little section in the Dynasty 411 Industry section. Couldn't find that on YouTube though.

From Judah skateboards era (after being on Dynasty)

Just saw this clip for the first time while watching some Satva vids. Was a big fan of this dude's skating growing up. Can't recall ever seeing some of these clips in anything before.

Dude skates to The Police with that chill style. His part stuck out more than any other’s in Heavy Metal.

When you got a great part and a great song, shits timeless.
