Dallas, Texas
« on: August 04, 2013, 09:02:08 PM »
I know this is already a thread, but figured maybe a newer thread might be better to post in (especially since the last one seemed pretty dead).

I'm taking a trip to Dallas at the end of this month with a buddy to go see Dave Chappelle and other comedians at a comedy festival. We're hoping to be able to skate some street spots in Dallas, but don't know of any spots or anything.

Would some Slap pals be oh so kind and help us out?

Thanks.

shouldn't

downtown has a good amount of spots. there's a pretty famous ledge spot, jackson 5 that is just about perfect.

the downhill parking garage ledges in this video are somewhere in downtown.

hey guys, I'm going to be dallas for 10 days next week, looking for any ditches diy or slappy spots y'all can offer. Ill probably do my fair share of just cruising around downtown as well if anyones free to skate.

In order to not start a new Dallas thread, I’m just going to reply to this one. I’ll be in Dallas for about five days and was wondering what I should check out! What’s the main shop here?

haven't been to Dallas in a long time, but you should definitely check out Geometric skate shop! The Houston location shop has a pretty impressive board wall and from the pics posted of the Dallas location, its pretty similar. They got a good squad and a lot of pro skaters come through both locations. Koston was recently signing some boards at the Houston location

I haven’t been to Dallas since index was around but I think there’s a shop called the point in deep ellum. There was all kinds of little stuff I had fun with, and a little ditch near the arena. Also skated the planters at the Ronald Kirk bridge but haven’t been in 8 years so I can’t speak on how any of these spots are
