Edit:FOUND IT ON YOUTUBE SON! And I must say it was probably the best thing ever for what it is which is heavy rails and stairs, I like a little more color/creativity in my skating but hey, you can't knock hammers BUT with that said, I found it kinda predictable, like a little too flawless you know? Nothing caught my eye as being a little sketchily stylish or even slightly awkward which can actually make a trick look better than had it be done bolts which gets kinda monotonous and repetitive after a little while, un gnar me or whatever nigga, I'm keeping it G on this shit and sticking to my guns with Westgate as my ballot for SOTY

Those Rincon rail tricks alone were just nuts. You do have to give the guy credit for stepping it up. All the time when he was little, everyone would front on his style and skills cause it looked like some odd kid shit. Now that he's grown, dude is leaps better than he used to be. But I like progression and I like seeing how skaters can push the limits farther than expected.

Nyjah really cleaned up his style. Last time he released a part for Thrasher (I think it was for Thrasher) I had to force myself to watch it all the way through. This time he added cleanliness along with progression. Gotta give him credit for that. I'm pretty sure I'll even rewatch it --- which says a lot, since I rarely rewatch anything these days.

Still not stoked on his mentality though. SOTY is the only contest he has yet to win. Yet being the key word, as I'm positive he's got it this year. He's been Thrasher's biggest and most prolific promoter. He really is the POTY.

But in my opinion, and the opinion of the Slap SOTY poll, Westgate is the real Skater Of The Year. Closely followed by Suciu.

All the tricks were gnarly, too bad I couldn't stop concentrating on his awful style :/ Looks like he's going switch even when he's skating regular... I wouldn't choose him for SOTY but he's definitely in the group of dudes who deserve it.

Seems like people are breaking this part down and examining everything there possibly is to hate on this kid, That was some next level shit , stuff that probably wont be surpassed anytime soon. He even wore a skate and Destroy shirt , wouldn't  hate or be surprised if he miraculously won past all the hate and negative things going against him. We still go a Suciu and Ishod part coming too so its not over yet.

Can't hate on this, SOTY would be well deserved. I like how he added quite a few tech NBDs, not just a stair to every rail banger.

I liked this too. The kickflip bs 270 lipslide jumped out at me for that.  I liked that multi-kink feeble he did too where one small section of the rail was kinked really oddly.  I could see that grabbing your truck.  And his front 180 switch crook back to regular was awesome too.

I'll agree with HATE! that this stuff was awesome but doesn't get me super excited.  You can't deny his talent or go to anyone better for a carcass toss part.  I don't know if he'll get SOTY though if only because I can't see him and Phelps having too much fun together on the SOTY trip.
