That board gives off a little bit of a habitat vibe.

If only Habitat boards still looked like that.

I got the austin gillette 3d glasses board from my shop and I fucking fell in love. I'd skating nothing but 3D boards if my shop gets more.

yeah I got Austyns razor deck the day they released, couldn't be happier with the quality and shape, the graphics just aren't as good as I was expecting. Im sure BA will have some cool stuff in the spring though.

The new stuff looks okay. They did a parody board of one of the Girl series, and did boards for Austyn and BA that copied Forrest and Garret Hill's pro boards with just there badly drawn faces on the board. Basically more of the same, the one posted in here was my favorite that I've seen besides the one with the bear on it.

You can't be serious. I don't blame Alex now for leaving. Why parody that of all things.

It wasn't as gross as it sounds but it was pretty lame. They were black on the top half, white on bottom with their poorly drawn faces in the middle.

The Girl parody was of this board ^but with BA's face instead of the girl. Weird boards to do remakes of for sure.

Did anybody else catch Heavy skateboards comment to the killing floor "I know the feeling @thekillingfloor". looks like they've been accused more than once.

Because there can only be one collage board. My volvo driving ex used to make collages all the time, used to have to go to michaels and pick up modge podge and card stock for her.

Who fucking cares.

They've seemed to have been in a hurry to put out the brand first and think about the vision later. imo that's a pretty shitty way to start a company, and at the moment it just seems like the only reason he wanted to do his own thing is to make more money. There doesn't seem to be anything unique about this company and I can't see why anyone would feel a need to get out of girl, to have artistic freedom to do shitty parody graphics and mom-friendly skatemental graphics. But hopefully they're gonna evolve into something sick soon, if they won't go under before that.

I don't really understand why B.A didn't just stay with girl for a little longer while fully figuring out what the brand's gonna be about.

Also they need to start supporting more people, if P-rod, Nyjah and Chris Cole decided to start a company and just share the profits with each other, people would think it's whack and greedy.

I'm digging it. Looks similar but it's probably just a coincidence since they're basically collages.
Exactly, many companies have done ideas like this before. Just because it's a collage does not mean it's a rip-off, even if they are kind of similar. I do like this graphic much better than the previous line though. The old stuff looked as though it was an extension of a Skate Mental catalog. I'd like Brian to do more stuff like this and be creative with his works and art for the boards.

3d just needs a 10 minute promo and everything will sort itself out.

BA is like Jason Kidd trying to coach the nets. He definitely has ideas but he has no idea how to implement anything. He'll eventually figure it out but for now he's totally lost and it shows.  Austyn gillette is ridiculously organized he probably does a lot more than is let on.

I think 3D was launched in order to make some buzz at the same time as the launch of his Nike SB Pro model Project BA.
It was a good way to bring and capitalize attention on him and use this attention to push both his own brand and his shoe

I am kind of out of the loop so I have never heard of it, but this Tired thing looks how I initially envisioned 3D would look.

I'm stoked on Tired, is that Parra's company? The art looks similar.
Look I'm not selling anything that doesn't have my jizz on it. I don't care how much is offered.

Honestly, nothing looked that good to me except that one BA collage board and some of 3D's logo boards.  I really hope 3D gets a better idea of itself because I do want it to succeed, but I wonder how much longer it can last at this pace.

but this Tired thing looks how I initially envisioned 3D would look.

So well said and couldn't be more on point. Parra smoked it right out of the gate with a distinct aesthetic (and feel) while 3D continues to be a scattershot and amateurish mess. I am with you, Tired's graphics is how I originally envisioned 3D was going to look.
