If you're going to claim something being on top of skateboarding you should probably bring something relevant to skateboarding. Maybe a CSE or CCS. Fuck, even the back half of a Thrasher. Eastbay? Go buy some cleats.

It was a dark time for athletic companies trying to make skate shoes, yes. This is from 96, Etnies, 'Es, Emerica, Sheep, DC, Duffs and DVS were all around then. They don't even have the good Simple shoe in this, the old school.  The catalog doesn't even have half cabs... If anything this shows the ignorance of big sporting goods companies dabbling in skateboarding.

apart from the airwalk ones and the knu-skools, i wouldn't even class it as a "skate shoe" catalogue. defs not a good representation of some of the dope shoes that were around at the time.

Footlocker is littered with Janoski's and Koston 1's, right next to the basketball shoes. Eastbay is owned by Footlocker. They own CCS. Until they can sell it off.
