I recently bought some non sb bruins. There is not that much of a difference in comparison to the sb's. They even got the same sole. I had to put a better insole in them, but otherwise they skate as the sb's, look good, and are cheaper - I paid 30$.
I also bought some non sb blazers. They are slimmer than the sb's, which in my opinion is great.

You might want to try these out.
