Spitfire tiedye wheels:
I absolute love Spitfires but one series of wheels that sucken were those tiedye red/white/blue wheels.

It was like the different colors of urethane didnt really mix well.
Had em a week, did a pop shove-it down a six stair and one wheel blew up on impact.

Returned them and got the classics.

Haven't had colored grip since about 2006 but from what I remember it was made of a spongy type looking material, in that there were small holes where you could see through to the top ply. Shit sucked.

I cant speak for most of the companies that do that, FKD (i think) does graphic & coloured stuff thats pure shit, but the graphic mob feels/skates no different too me than plain black mob

gold had a series like that, too, in about 2003. the wheels would either crack straight through , or they would start to chunk out. i want to say they were chris lambert wheels but it's been so long that i can't remember
