Converse Chuck Taylors

I'd like to skate some chucks but I can't find ctas pros in france, not even online  :-\

Are chucks with shoe goo a good alternative ?
Do you know some european online shops that sell ctas pro ?

If you can find the chuck Taylor's,add some duct tape to the inside before you skate them.right where your kickflip mark is.Ive done this to every pair I've had.Once the tape is in proceed to lightly apply some shoe goo to build a nice layer

if you do this it makes the chucks feel so thick.

what the fuck is wrong with americans ?
 FUCK SHOE GOO
get some super glue and add just a few drops where you know you;ll wear it out.
it stays thin, it goes hard, and its easily a month's worth with  just the first layer.

are regular chucks even good/comfortable for skating? I had a pair of the CTS when they first came out and they gave me blisters

Just get some regular suede chuck taylors (the non skate ones) and add an extra insole. Thats what I've been skating in for the last couple of weeks. They skate amazing and hold up really well.

fuck cons. I remember wearing them around winter and my toes would be numb and i thought, oh it's cause it's freezing cold.
nope. tried skating them last week and my toes were numb after 5 minutes. I loved the cts i had when CONS first started up, the new ones suck.

I skated the regular canvas chuck taylors last weekend to see if the hype is real, and it was the worst.. You'll get used to them I guess, but you'll also get used to walking on nails if you do it enough. To each his own for sure, but don't believe the hype

you mean the black sabbath ones?  They're alright, still not used to how thin and narrow it is though.
