i rode 8.25s consestantly for a few years, but ive had 5 shaped decks in the past 2 years on only 2 Popsicles. with the shapes 8.5 at the widest point work the best.  mellow concave, 32.5 length

It seems like everyone likes their board short and fat. Try 33.5 for the next level in skateboarding. The longer wheelbase makes going fast a ton easier!
the real length of that board is more like 32.75 traceface

After skating various boards from 7.63" to 8.25" with ridiculously varying lengths, I have been stuck on 8.25" decks for around four years now.
I also prefer my boards to be a bit longer, 32" boards are right around where I like. 8.25x31.5 Deathwish boards are too short for me. 8.25 Foundation boards are also way too short (though Toy Machine is longer, which I always found to be weird).
Zero/Slave has a great shape for their 8.25. Toy Machine 8.25s have never failed me. Roger boards are pretty close in shape to Toy Machines, but a bit more rounded on the nose/tail.
I am quite partial to a mellow to medium amount of concave.

Yea, idk why deathwish changed up their wheelbase. Cause when i first got one (when they first started) all there boards were 32" some a little over. But once baker came to baker boys they shortened their lengths, havent tried one since. Ive only skated an 8.25 once, but it was a toy machine fists, and it was one of the best boards i ever rode.
This has me cracking up, what exactly does Black Flag have to do with measuring your dick starting behind ya nuts?

Skateboarding is nothing but a game to find the right fits to appear like you're a proportional human being instead of a midget or a giant.

8.75" - 9" whatever Welcome's concave is, it's perfect.

Agree with above dudes, gotta have at least some 8s and 8.5s as well as a fuckton of 8.25s.

Personally I skate anything from 8.38-8.75 provided I like the shape of the nose/tail, not overly bothered by wheelbase, length or concave provided they aren't really extreme.

7.93.. 7.9 something i forget, a little shorter than 32 and a lot of concave, but i wouldnt take my opinion into consideration seeing how i seem to be in the minority on that one.
