Does suede flick better than leather?

It definitely tears faster at least, so I'm assuming yes.

Also, seems like gum soles wear out the fastest. Do you think white soles hold up the longest versus, say, black?

I find leather flicks just as good as suede once you get through that outer layer. Skated leather looks cool too, just takes a little longer to soften up and break in.

yeah i think Nubuck leather breaks in a little quicker than reg leather, i don't think it's as tough though. i remember the synthetic nubuck that Vans Rowley XLT's being made out of working pretty good.

nubuck turns really white too once it starts to wear
