Does that really qualify as a "beef" between Welcome and Stereo? Seems more like just a stupid comment from one bitter dude, and was there any indication at all that it was directed at Welcome as a company or at regular dudes who fit that mold?

The kicker is that a fair # of Slap regulars have said that exact same kind of bullshit, recently. No matter how much net-cred bashing Stereo can get ya, if you're one of them just make sure to be consistent with your hate.

The funny part is that Welcomes Berrics United, their video parts for Monarchs of magic and all the other videos they've done have fun stuff and gnarly and tech things too.
And the industry seems diverse enough that people can find whatever they want to be inspired by. Stereo had a vision many moons ago that they wanted to bring a simpler more style based image to skating, funny how times change.
Lots of talented skaters have been overlooked because of lack of image, I dont agree with it but based on the success of certain brands/skaters over the years, image outsells talent every time.

And damn, when are people going to actually watch Welcome's videos and realize that it's riders are actually undeniably good at skating. Skating tranny and doing old tricks doesn't mean they're not good. Please stop spreading that bullshit.
