i had a habitat when i was little that supposedly had a layer of bamboo in it. it lasted long but almost too long... became super soggy feeling and wouldn't snap just bend a lot. this was in the era of "deck gimmicks" i believe... element just came out with the feather light bullshit

Felt just like any other deck.

You're trying to tell me China and USA make better skateboard than Canada? All the best wood grows here, shipping it down south or overseas can't be good for the product. Hardrock maple bitch I'm sure other countries use our wood well, but what's the point? It's already here and should be pressed by intelligent fair wage workers, not some shit operation in the Shanghai suburbs.

I think my only issues have been from having to order my boards online.
 Sadly, I dont have a local shop exactly worth supporting anymore.They are mostly a bike shop now. They only order these soft feeling crappy blanks with nearly no concave in sizes 8 and under these days. As well as only generic trucks. I really need to harp on them about ordering some Tum Yeto and DLX stuff at least. I miss just walking uptown from one of my favorite spots if I ever needed anything new. but in Southeast Kansas, nearly no one skates now. Like maybe 15 people in the three closest towns combined that actually skate quality stuff.

how wide and long are any of those cowtown boards? I cant tell by the picture.  I hate most all boards now too.  Too much concave, TOO much kick tail
