Beautiful indeed – it was built with granite slabs from the GDR's "Palast der Republik" (which had been stored since the building was torn down around 2007). I remember a magazine article about skateboarders breaking in and skating the the abandoned building back in the 90s. So in some way this is an actual spot turned into a park.
