This felt like an older Zero vid, I like that.

Hopefully Jamie can really concentrate on the team a feel of the brand more now and let Dwindle handle all the rest.

Never really liked this guy. This kind of unstylish caveman attack on handrails just seems out of date. Ten years ago you could get away with it but these days there are so many skaters doing gnarly stuff with good style.

I feel most of this footage was meant for cold war then the threat promo, if they put forest on and use his stuff for the threat promo they've basically gave a 4 month advantage on this a part every 60 days thing.

^ they used one of their songs in a promo clip for new blood i think, and they've used a few songs by lard (same lead singer) as well.

have any other companies done the "new part released every __ days" bit? I know it was done for cold war, too. is it just to make the video less forgettable and stretch their advertising over a longer period?

In the cold war sense, ya Thrashed has slowly released a part each day for Theatric, 3 of the Static parts and i'm sure for other things. The way this is done I can't think of an example.

Now, we used to say we put on our tights to put on the world. So I don't think it tarnishes the image at all.

Go and watch the Auby Taylor part below,  compare the two. Not even in the same league and he's an am. or take a  look at the new Matt Miller part. Or even that Jart Am part. Pretty much anyone.

Zero needs to move on from handrails.

Maybe it's just me, but for a dude who hasn't had a video part in 5 years, that was kinda fucking weak.

Anyone else notice the irony in them using this particular dead kennedys song? Jamie Thomas talked about the surge of constant content in skateboarding diluting the classic video format, but now he's feeding that beast, and using a song about MTV watering down the quality of music.

I've always liked Garret Hill and enjoyed that part, but pretty bummed on the length. With the intro, his part only came out to a minute and a half and some of the footage was used in that vid him and his brother made. From his most recent interviews, it seemed like he's been super motivated so I expected a lot more footy I guess. Hopefully he has other stuff he's saving for other projects.

Yeah maybe Baker should move away from gaps, Girl from tech ledge skating, and Anti-hero from pools/bowls.
