What are your favorite albums of 2014? The year is almost done - lets do this!

Dead Congregation "Promulgation of the Fall" and Actress "Ghettoville" are hands down the most listened to albums for me.

Pallbearer- Foundations of Burden
Warpaint
Freddie Gibbs and Madlib.

That Sun Kil Moon should be there as well, I love it, but it's hard to listen to it and not want to blow my head off.

I haven't listened as much as I should to the Total Control album but it's a great follow up to their perfect 1st.

Iceage - Plowing Into the Field of Love

Merchandise - After the End

The War on Drugs - Lost in the Dream

My Brightest Diamond - This Is My Hand

Luluc, Mr. Twin Sister, The Twilight Sad, Interpol*, and Blonde Redhead all put out great records too.

*Unfortunately the mixing/mastering really does a number on it, though.

Parquet Courts - Sunbathing Animal
Parkay Quarts - Content Nausea

Salad Days for sure.

Christopher Owens, YG, Solids, Ariel Pink, Kevin Morby all put out great stuff.  Really looking forward to Bored Nothing - Some Songs whenever that's out.

This thread reminds me Dan Deacon was working on new songs but remains under the radar since last year's "America".

The Notwist, Close to the Glass

Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks, Enter the Slasher House

If I had money, or a lack of guilt, or a less-obsessive mind, my list would be a lot larger
