ATV = Anti-Hero, Creature, Lifeblood

If you actually have fun skateboarding, probably Enjoi or kr00ked

If you're a supporter of your local skateboarding community, you'd probably be riding a local shop deck.

Anyways,

If you are a hipster kid, the impossible has replaced the 360 flip in your trick selection.
LA kids love hardflipping off of shit.
Flannel and powerslides
Hip Hop and switch heels tend to go together
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”
I quit skating for a time due to piling out

Varial flips and kickflip sex change = juggalo skaters
I also remember when doing airwalks down stairs went hand in hand with wearing tight jeans, fallen t shirts, and a bandana on your head.

Can't forget the good ol' double flip landed once out of every 30 attempts. The sliding fakie bigspin goes hand in hand too.

Lol

Supreme cherry influenced kids: no complies, impossibles, wallies
Just went to macba and it was the biggest reaffirmation of what Middle aged wiggers are like every second trick is switch heel based/ switch back tail based

Well guys, there's nothing better than getting out there and skateboarding. - Shane O'Neill.

Pro skaters should be judged based on their kickflip front boards on handrails.
Or at least, I remember a time when that was true.
I'm going to argue that Placebo owes their entire career to a Canadian dude's skate video part. Appleyard should be getting royalties for this shit.

why do people skate switch

it's challenging

some tricks are easier or feel better switch/nollie rather than regs/fakie

being able to skate all ways multiplys your bag of tricks by 4x

huge advantage in s.k.a.t.e.

boards last longer since you use the nose and tail more equally (unless you're one of those all switch dudes)

same with shoes

skating switch is the pinnacle of the "ah, fuck it" approach to skateboarding. you know, someone is like, "i really wanna hit that obstacle but i'm riding backwards. ah, fuck it. i'm gonna hit it anyway."
