11$ project board.

Ztuntz show up on amazon for sometimes under 10$. Sometimes I buy a few and sell on the side. They're decent enough for the price. Made in the USA in their own factory. I'm gonna sand this down and make another dicking around board.

my friend swears by those boards. i skated one and the graphic is just too weird for me. super slick and just wears weird. same wood as blue tile obsession (which i guess isn't being made anymore when I asked ozzie on insta).

EDIT

I also impose bought this backpack. won the auction for $9, if anyone wants this ill trade it to ya

Grabbed the Josh Matthews debut Habitat board. 8.25 with woodgrain embossing effect on nose and tail. I confirmed with Habitat that it's BBS pressed. Moving forward Habitat is going to be spreading production between PS Stix and BBS. They will use PS for some special projects (cork boards, the Twin Peaks series) and BBS for some of their other boards.

No. BBS is in Mexico. They did say they were doing one run in China. Is it that new 'Classic Stripes' series?

Heritage: does it look pointy at all in the nose or tail or is it pretty rounded? I'm looking forward to grabbing a 8.3-8.5 alien when they put out some better graphics but need that full nose and tail that I used to love about alien/habitat.

I haven't really noticed that with the pair I have.
I bought the "classic fit" ones which i assumed is what they call their regular fit pants and they fit slightly looser around the legs than dickies 874s. It took a bit of getting used to at first but it's not that big of a deal at all. For 11 bucks they aren't bad at all and they're definitely a good cheaper and less starchy alternative to Dickies.

Totally know what you mean...I lined up 3 Habitat 8.25. The first two are PS pressed and the 3rd is the new Matthews (BBS). The very first one is the 32.375 length which had the pointy nose. The one in the middle is the 31.125 with that full 'band aid' shaped nose. It's a really popular shape. Quasi and AWS also have used this exact same shape in their runs.

IMO the 8.25 shape they are using with BBS is a great mix of the two. It's not as extreme as the Band Aid shaped nose, but it's also not super pointy either. I know there is only so much to glean from a picture like this, but it really is a good mix:

Right on thanks. I'm still skating the 8.5 quasi with that bandaid shape and I'm digging it. So considering I'll be going a little bigger than the 8.25 pictured, I should be fine with it.

I bought fake Adidas Superstars for a pittance... looked good enough. If only a little flimsy like knockoffs tend to be. I don't know why I fucking bother with shoes with hard toes, they are comfortable, stable, grippy, but the shell toe squeezes my big toe really hard for skating. If I ever post something like "yours truley got some rad chuck's today...", please call me a moron.
