A little late to the party but i finally got my hands on this one, Was thinking about making it a cruiser but the graphic is too sick. Might just go ahead and make it a wall board.

Second that, except with 169s. Skating the vest shape now.

What color are your top and bottom stains? I'm hoping they aren't all brown stains, but it's not a deal breaker.

Man the long board truck thing killed indy for me. I was willing to set aside the racism, but long boarding, gtfo... - DH

I got a yellow one - there's the typical variety of stains. Socal has them listed separately by color.

Yeah I'd also love to hear your feedback regarding the element board. I do believe I've read it's a mix of ps stix and Chinese wood. I've been wanting to get a westgate just so I can put $2 in his pocket.

Yeah I've known the dudes at SW for over a decade. They always have the bet sales. Although I just ordered and only got 15% off.

Six balls are so under rated it's not even funny.

i was about to get some after deciding between them, the swiss and the L2s. i ended up going with reds. what makes one bearing better than another?

You really don't know difference until you ride set of decent bearings. Swiss are smoother, longer lasting and they seems to roll further than cheaper ones, less friction. Within last two years I've skated reds, bronson g3's and now I'm on set of regular swiss and the difference is like day and night.

The deck feels super poppy. Like my first ollie on it was just float-y but that may be because I'm used to high ass Indys and these Thunders are a lot lower.

The only thing that's different from most decks I've ridden is the nose is pretty round and the tail is more squared off but after 5 minutes I was in love with it. Concave is on the medium/lower side but I like flatter decks anyway.

Over all very impressed after my first skate down to the store for some food and shit.

Awesome, thanks for following through with an update. I've been eyeing a few Elements but haven't pulled the trigger. For more comfortable making the buy now. I've always been skeptical of the helium and fiberlight boards because it sounds like it would make them less rigid and poppy.

was drinking at my friends last night and went out for a smoke and saw a pair of reynolds 3's perfect condition, he already owed me $50 for weed and i said, ill take those reynolds and drop the money he owed me, he was down! (don't know how to embed photos  but this is the colour way he had)

Edit: personally my favourite colour way of this shoe, realistically won't skate it much

Broken in they are one of the best cupsoles. Like a more flexible Dunk. Shoe goo the seams and you are gold.

good to hear, gonna put both pair on the back burner until the fall, still have a pair of blazers to skate but I'm looking forward to it.

yea i was always curious about them. jake johnson used to wear them i think, got me thinking about them after watching some footage of his. figured for the price i paid ($22) you cant beat that.
