I bought a pair of DC Trueper cargo pants of the net.

Holy fuck they are the biggest fucking pants I have ever owned. And this includes back in the 90s with Blind jeans.

I'm getting them taken in so hopefully I can wear them without feeling like goofy boy 3000. They are like snowboard pants ATM! They cover my shoe ffs

true, but I actually like the look of them, pretty simple design really and they look like they actually breathe

hahah, we always have the same shoes huh? what did you do with the sizing on your seslas? If I remember correctly you were in between sizes (just like I was). I wonder if these beasts can finally replace my Silas 1 lust...

Also, did you boys put aftermarket insoles in them, or did you just rock them with those thins eS ones?

I went half size up on Sesla’s and wear my thickest socks  ;D I never bother to change insoles but those es ones are thin indeed so it might be wise move...

Bought a pair of the Emerica x Toy Machine indicator Hi's
Very Comfortable and skate well
Could be a little more durable but not bad for a canvas shoe.

Labor Day splurging

Active sale:
Pumas
Cons
Heroin tapes deck
Guy slick deck

Skate Warehouse sale:
3 sets of Indys, 159 x 1, 149 x 2
2 sets of bearings
Matching Guy shirt
Blind coffee mug

The local:
8.3 shop board (bareback)
extra grips
Toy Machine socks
F4 Conical Full 58mm 99
risers

The Heroin and Guy are the first 2 shaped boards I've ever had. I mean, I got my first board in 83 or 84. And I've never taken any breaks; except for being hurt. So I've skated shaped boards. But only because that is what a skateboard was at that time. Since 94 or whenever, it's been nothing but popsicles. Well, I have a zip zinger. But that doesn't really count. To be honest, I've kind of looked down on shaped boards. I'll see a clip or something and think, that was a rad trick, but that ugly shaped board takes something away from it. Even seeing someone ride rails kind of bums me out. It's a silly attitude to have. But I'm just being truthful. Now, as an oldie I'm coming full circle. Becoming the kook I once derided. I'm actually really excited to get these set up.
Once I strip the black paint off the hanger, I'm going to set up the 159s on the Heroin board with the 58mm fulls. It's always been a goal of mine to learn how to skate Washington Street and hopefully this is the set up that will get me over the loveseat.
Then I'm thinking about getting some Thunders or Ventures and probably a 50mm classic for the Guy.
Will these things actually get skated? Or just take up space in the trunk of my car? Only time will tell.

ive finally ridden it enough to have an opinion and i just dont really like it. i usually like ps decks but this doesnt feel as steep and snappy as they usually feel to me. im riding it with new trucks that ive never used before (krux) so i dont know if thats affecting it or not.

Sounds like I would like it. When chocolate did the 20the anniversary select series with PSStix they were awesome perfect shapes not too steep on the flatter side. I wish every girl choc board was like that. I can’t skate most of Psstix since they too steep

Ace 55s and 52mm f4 lock ins, the black and grey swirl ones.
Man the long board truck thing killed indy for me. I was willing to set aside the racism, but long boarding, gtfo... - DH

One of the locals at the park who's flow for DGK was selling boards out of his car for only 25 bucks each, and he just so happens to skate my size; for that cheap I had to pick one up. Never had a DGK ever, but I know they use generator wood and the shape isn't too bad, so I'm willing to give it a try

Also bought some new OG black and white Chucks to skate in, and some new bushings (not pictured).
Went with Doh Dohs cuz those were the only ones they had in a medium hard duro at the shop, they had Indy and Thunder aftermarkets as well but only in too soft of a duro for my tastes. So far they feel alright, not sure if they're fully broken in yet or not tho.

dude me too. I still remember my 1st foundation board back in 04. Someone had stolen my complete out of my PE locker and my friend hooked it up with a board. Problem is that was that board was huge, probably an 8.125/8.25 up until then I was exclusively riding 7.75s. I think after my two boards I have queued up I'll buy a Dakota board.
