Playing Tony Hawk I always thought spinning on top of a fire hydrant, or parking pole, was one of the tricks that would never see its way out of the game.

wow that was so good. he is def doing his own thing and welcome makes sense. jordans not young so i hope he gets paid
he prob doesn't put as much thought into it as people on a message board analyzing him do.
I don't really get it I guess. There's a point where unique spots and creative street skating cross a line and start to look try-hard. Shaped boards are somewhere near that line. It's all good and well to have fun and goof around, but this guy put out some of the best "raw" street skating ever (fast lines, making awkward ledge tricks look stylish etc) while he was on Boulevard and now he's going to knock over bike rims and land shit standing still or whatever? And did his push get weird or is he just going half as fast now? I know they had to film this quickly and everything, but it just seems like the magic is gone from his skating somehow. Maybe its just that I don't like Welcome very much.Â
