Playing Tony Hawk I always thought spinning on top of a fire hydrant, or parking pole, was one of the tricks that would never see its way out of the game.

You know that was a real life trick before it was a make-believe trick, right?

not the way jordan does it. aint no one flipped out, or going to "pivot" or whatever. jordan is the only person ive seen do a natas spin in the last fucking 20 years who didnt use a wall, or something to make him spin. HE KEEPS IT 100

David Gravette did one with a shove and a few other people have done then as well.

Awesome footage by this guy.  His current trick selection definitely fits Welcome a lot more than Blvd.

True that. He should consider ballet as a second career.

I don't really get it I guess.  There's a point where unique spots and creative street skating cross a line and start to look try-hard.  Shaped boards are somewhere near that line.  It's all good and well to have fun and goof around,  but this guy put out some of the best "raw" street skating ever (fast lines,  making awkward ledge tricks look stylish etc) while he was on Boulevard and now he's going to knock over bike rims and land shit standing still or whatever?  And did his push get weird or is he just going half as fast now?  I know they had to film this quickly and everything,  but it just seems like the magic is gone from his skating somehow.  Maybe its just that I don't like Welcome very much.

I'm sort of with tuque on this one - I'm all for the man getting paid by Welcome, but I hope this doesn't mean an end to his super tech skating. All those quick lines and grimy spots in his Vic's Market part is what made him one of my favorites to begin with.

maybe this is his form of progression. looked like some seriously difficult stuff in there.

he prob doesn't put as much thought into it as people on a message board analyzing him do.

It never even came to mind to put Jordan Sanchez and Welcome Skateboards together, holy shit mind blown. Into broken glass.whaaaaa.

This is great for Sanchez and Welcome. Stoked for all of them. News like this conjures up new excitement in skateboarding for me.

I agree, this crossed the line. It looks like it was thrown together quickly, but still, too much wacky/shitty stuff considering what he has put out before.
