I was able to perform a soft mod on my original Wii & port all 700+ SNES games through a flash drive using the accompanying homebrew emulator (errr can't remember if its SNES9X).

Easily the best thing you can do with the Wii & the games play great with the Gamecube controllers.

I think the general consensus about this game is that it is fucking fantastic! The re-port was sooooooooooo bad . . .

I did this too but not Snes9x. Its an emulator channel that I acquired. Now I can play snes, nintendo, 64, sega, gameboy, 32x, dreamcast, gamegear, Saturn, Gameboy, and other various games. Its easily the best thing ive ever done.

Now that the Wii is essentially a large-scale cliche paperweight, SLAP heads should start looking into soft-modding their existing consoles . . .

I haven't been on Homebrew in quite some time Stoop Kid, did they make an all-encompassing emulator channel or do you still have to download individual channels for your desired console?

And as for the SNES, remember the peripherals?

Piece of junk in my humble opinion . . .  ;D  ;D  ;D

Download this program, it's essentially iTunes for rom files.

Download your games from here.

Buy a retrolink usb snes controller from eBay for $10 and you now have access to pretty much any old school game you can imagine for roughly $15. I've been playing nes and snes games on this program for a few months and I have to say, it's flawless.

i use openemu as well, it's really good. i'd highly recommend it for any mac user.
