With Nike flexing their legal muscles over Chuck knockoffs, New Balance, who owns PF Flyers, couldn't get an exemption so they are now suing Nike:

i don't know if any of you read the actual filings but new balance hired a firm called fish and richardson to represent them. FR is pretty much regarded as the best for this kind of stuff.  that tells me that they plan on taking this thing all the way.  you don't hire FR to send a message or to reach an agreement.  you hire them to win.  i will be following this one closely

I read the whole thing and whats most confusing is Converse sold off Pf flyers decades ago and now there suing over the right to sell a design they sold off the rights too.
