New Battle at the Berrics

New here. Been lurking for years and finally had something worthwhile to say.

The Battle at the Berrics is epicly popular and in my opinion so stupid. If anything it just makes you sad that you can't Nollie 540 flip and teaches the young skaters that getting tricks is what its about when in reality skating is just supposed to be fun. This year they announced that we get to "select" the top 32.

I think it is our duty to make sure Todd Falcon makes it. And The Gonz and all the other old guys that likely play skate just like the rest of us.

In my opinion this will be so much more entertaining than watching 32 guys who haven't miss a tre flip in years.

Then you'll at least appreciate the old guys pushing around. Maybe we see The Gonz try some kickflips on a longboard. Can Neil Blender tre flip? I don't know but I'm hoping we find out.

as much as i think putting guys like todd falcon or gonz in batb would be really enjoyable, i already know berra is going to find some way to ruin it with shitty intros, interviews, artsy alternate angles, heart-felt paragraphs on the landing page, mtn dew ads, berrics rules, and whatever else the berrics shits out on a daily basis. its battle at the berrics, at the end of the day it still sucks.

its still skating. the intro is annoying but just skip to the tricks, its not that hard. if u let that stuff ruin skating for u then thats ur own problem

why differentiate doing tricks and having fun??? doing tricks is fun. havent you seen the gonz do a switch 360 flip? and what would make me sad about seeing other people succeed at being really technically gifted at skating? hey op youre a fucking idiot bye

 Its just really boring watching a robot skate flatground. The entire BOTB contest is the same stuff over and over just with different people doing it. I would love to see The Gonz do a switch tre again.. I have no idea if he can still do it. Thats why its important to get different people in there.
