my actual first ever pair of skate shoes: DC Exero that are sitting in a landfill somewhere outside of Saint Louis, Missouri. I'd pay some money if I was able to geo locate them and have them dug out. That or the new balance cross trainer shoes I did my first ollie on in 5th grade before I got the DCs.

Had to dig for these, mentioned these before, the reboot Es tried nearly 10 years ago for the SLB 2.  The Arcane.  These are Samples I don't think they ever made it to production cause they were going to retail for over $100 at the time.

FAAAAAARK...EPIC!!!!!!

they should do the reboot for the SLB 2 NOW in the original color way / material and they
shoud call it again after Sal Barbier - put it out with a little part from sal and i would buy.

I'm skating a pair of eS scales from 2007 and they have the exact STI evolution soles as those SLB samples. They take like a month to break in. As for a new SLB release, these are coming out soon

I had a pair of these in olive/gum and I left them on my enclosed back patio because I stepped in dog shit. Two weeks later a homeless guy was wearing them. I said "THOSE ARE MY SHOES" and he ran off. That's the whole story.

Something about the strap on that shoe made me feel like a damn super hero. Early 2000s sole tech was the shit. We used to give this homeless guy change to try and Ollie off the loading dock behind big lots. Ah to be a douchebag teenager once more.

I think that I have these at my fathers house in brand new condition size US 10.5. They fit more like 10 so I didn't skate them or wear them at all.

It's Dyrdek's second DC model from 1996. I had them in that same color. Loved them. They looked perfect. They were the coolest. I was so cool back then...

BTW - anyone has any pic from Colin Mckay's second shoe on DC. I am unable to find any photo. I remember they felt weird for the time. Like a futuristic aerobic boot. But that's all my memory can recall.

I have a pair of these in the closet next to some original puffy accels. my only regret is tossing out the og ellingtons I got with them.

wouldn't necessarily maim / kill / pay a small fortune to get another pair of those nowadays, but those are the skate shoes i have the fondest memories of. they were the first skate shoes i ever bought for myself as a kid with birthday money that weren't cheap vans / converse / even tennis shoes from chain sporting goods store (small town upbringing, closest skateshop had to be two hours away, no money for the real deal back when shoes were averaging 120 euros in the very early 2000's, no internet sales back then etc...). got them not too long after WHL came out and was really stoked on eS back then, they had the most amazing roster and now they had pj ladd. anyway those accel plus' managed to endure over three months of daily skateboarding, felt amazing, and i remember wearing them to a hotel around the time i was seeing my first girl so i must have had some good times in them in general. colorway may look funky & outdated by now but back then i was convinced the whole picture was the epitome of a proper skate shoe so fuck that !

That's McKay's third shoe. Never had them but was always blown away by how basketball they looked. Kinda looks like a weird Fila now but I gotta admit I like them. Always get stoked when I see them in footy. Drake Jones at Pier 7.
