I've got a pair in black/purple that I've worn about 4 times. Never really vibes with them.

TBH I bought them when they were 75% off and I bleached the purple parts.

What was the Es shoe that Arto was wearing in Menikmati that was navy blue with a reddish sole and the "es" in a white field? I always wanted those.

It was Ronnie Creager shoe.

WHY CAN'T SKATE SHOES LOOK LIKE THIS ANYMORE? paneled toe caps didn't deserve to be obsolete.

I would buy these so fast. They were nice bc they were slimmer than Accells, and skated beautifully. Just perfect imo, they should have never stopped producing this shoe. Someone bitch at Kelly Hart enough to get him to pull the trigger on a reproduction, and get Creager a check in the process.
At least when you're a washed-out hipster douchebag in NY, you can milk it at some decent looking, hard to skate spots. In LA you're just a tan-lined faggot in a school yard somewhere.

THESE! What the fuck were they? Dyrdek's right? I had a black pair my sophomore year I've been racking my brain about it for a while.
[close]

It's Dyrdek's second DC model from 1996. I had them in that same color. Loved them. They looked perfect. They were the coolest. I was so cool back then...

BTW - anyone has any pic from Colin Mckay's second shoe on DC. I am unable to find any photo. I remember they felt weird for the time. Like a futuristic aerobic boot. But that's all my memory can recall.

Not sure if that's his second or third. Scroll right, it's a huge pic.

Yes! Thank you very much. That page scan took me back in time. wow

That's McKay's third shoe. Never had them but was always blown away by how basketball they looked. Kinda looks like a weird Fila now but I gotta admit I like them. Always get stoked when I see them in footy. Drake Jones at Pier 7.

I can't post a picture because of the data limit or whatever, BUT! I finally found a pair of the eS Edgars online from Martini skateshop. $16 and on my feet now. Life is so exciting sometimes!

Seeing those Ellingtons makes me wish he was still on Emerica. A revamped G6 model of the Ellington would be awesome.

Yup that is his third, and they skated great.

The two's look absolutely amazing though...

I would love to have some deadstock pairs of dc on that page. I had them all...

But man a pair of black syntax :(

I just bought a pair of old grey syntax, for 8 bucks.  Gonna try and restore them...

Me and some of my buddies had that colin shoe as backup, whenever we couldn’t afford new shoes we shamingly wore those.
Prolly would be stoked on them now.

Again, had these in the black and white colour but these always looked brilliant with the one colour toe. And nostalgia aside, I think these would probably still be feasible to skate in, even with the big air pocket in the heel the forefoot was surprisingly good for board feel.

I had this colorway but always wanted that red toe. Still do, actually. I remember the guy at my local calling them the ugliest shoes he'd ever seen, and him needing to have them because of that.

I'd like the Liberty Dunks.

All white vans Fairline would be nice. 10 pairs.

I wish dc brought back the back the boxer instead of the syntax it was
Far more skateable imo I quite liked them..

Those Dyrdeks were were really good I had the black and than the white
I had those Colin McKay 3’s aswell in all black.

The clocker was a weird shoe never skated those they were kinder the price point
Dc at the time however they got strangely appealing when there was footage of penny skating all
Brown ones even tho he was on es.. I guess some people thought they were his usual
Brown accells..

Off topic but Tom penny never skated in timberland “brand” boots ever

The first Crocketts took longer to break in than the current ones but they looked better and this colorway was well good (especially when laced properly, haha):

Oh man, that photo is crisp, and that colorway. I'd hop on the Creager reissue train, but es has fucked most of their reissues and I think this one requires precision because of how skateable it was despite having quite a few panels and an air bubble.

Nike SB: FC "fret click" zoom air.

Recently found the Brazil colorway, pretty happy about it but these are special.

Adidas Silas SLR, still on ebay in small sizes but hard to find in double-digit sizes.

Based on that old ad, the boxer def looks more skateable than the syntax but I have the reissue syntax and they skate perfectly.

Begged my grandfather for these when i was like 14, till he finally gave in and grabbed them for me. Shredded them to death that summer and learned a bunch of tricks, would like a pair to keep in the box just to remember hanging out with him that summer.
