What do you guys typically carry in your pockets when you're at the spot or skatepark?

I've heard too many stories of people having their stuff snatched, so I skate with my wallet, keys on a carabiner (haven't been impaled by them yet) and despite the risk of cracking my phone screen I carry my phone in my pocket too. Plus you never know when your opportunity for an essential instagram clip will come.

Oh and like 20 condoms. They help cushion my falls

I guess as a bonus, what one unusual item did you once have in your pocket while skating? I had a bunch of copies of my amtrak ticket back home when I was in NYC for just a day. It was really hot that day and I sweated through a lot of them, it was so hesh. Good thing some of them were still readable otherwise I would have been stranded.

I just put everything in my backpack. It's annoying when there's stuff in your pockets while skating.

Wallet only. If I have to I'll take my car key off the ring and put it in a shirt pocket. I do my best to have nothing because the littlest thing throws me off.

skating with things in my pockets with the most annoying shit ever, i usually hook my keys on a belt loop and use this slim card wallet and that's only when i know ill need too buy things and/or carry my train pass card, as a rule i'll never take my phone with me skating haven't done it since i was 16 its just one less thing to worry about or keep checking and not actually skate

if i'm at a park it's just the car keys. if it's street it'll be keys and wallet. the jean in front of my left front pocket always start wearing out from the inside due to my keys rubbing. used to always have a lighter when i smoked. would forget i had a dimebag of bud in there sometimes and find it mid session. shit i really wanna skate now.

If I'm somewhere sketchy. I take the single key off and lock everything in my truck.
Sometime a knife is I forget to take it out.

i generally hate having anything in my pockets at any time, so no phone, no wallet. ill take a $5 or $10 bill for snacks or a tall can, sometimes rubberband them to my clipper card if im taking the bus further than skating distance. used to keep the keys in my pocket, then had them on a carabiner but fell on them so many times in both instances that i wear them around my neck now, also keeps me from losing them when i get drunk. other accoutrements (cigarettes, lighter etc.) go in the jacket pockets. i love falling down in the street

Only thing I'll never skate with in my pockets are my keys, and that's because I always wear a hole into my pants super easily when I do.
I don't really care if I have my wallet or my phone in my pocket while I'm skating.

broke a few glass pipes years ago that I kept in my pocket while skating....that was dumb

Few years ago, I was wearing some shorts with big pockets listening to music skating this manual pad. I fell at the end of it onto my side and the fucking headphone jack got stuck in my thigh. It sucked cause I was new to the area and was around a bunch of people who were already vibing me out so I looked like a pussy who just fell on my side. It scabbed up fine but the whole side of my thigh was purple for like a month. I don't wear shorts like that anymore when skating.

I only skate with my phone in my wallet because sometimes I like to listen to music. I sometimes carry a lil piece of wax becuae you never know.Besides that I leave me Waller in the car.

more keys than a high school janitor in my back left pocket, Costanza wallet stuffed with old receipts and business cards in my right pocket. headphones, pocket knife, crumpled up bills, phone, etc in my front pockets.

I always carry a camouflage bandana with me. When we shred, i stash everything in a bush and cover it with the bandana, then leaves and twigs. Tweakers pass by without a clue of an iPhone existing within their scante aura.

I'm the opposite, I freak out when there's not stuff in my pockets. I keep my phone, smokes, chapstick, wallet, keys, lighter and ipod shuffle all in my pocket. I even got a small plastic medallion a Buddhist monk gave me downtown in my wallet.
