The results are in

The game is pretty much unanimously held in bad regard.

The game requires a 7.75GB install before play, which is insane
considering the game is only 4.5BGs large.

Petty cash grab, no doubt will be the last of the big budget Hawk games

I guess the rumor is Activision contract with Tony hawk was going to end this year, so they just cranked out another hawk game quickly. While, they still had the rights to it.

My friend said you can't do double flip variations on it, which is weird because the last like 5 tony hawk games you were able to.  If they took that away from it I can't imagine what other good stuff they took away from the series.

I love the skate games as much as the next guy, but did anyone else ever get their hands on this? All of the levels from the first 2 THPS games (plus five more) on the Tony Hawk 2 game engine... perfection.

Why does everybody on the roster gets the last name treatment while Jamie is called J. Thomas? There must be a deeply important reason for that.

Because his last name is a first name. Then you'd be asking"Why was everyone forced to use their last name but Thomas gets his first name in there. Who is he, Seal?!"

I actually didn't mind project 8 that much.  I know a lot of people hated that game, but I really liked the way flip tricks looked on it especially 360 flips and lazerflips and when you 180d with them it actually looked like a legit big flip or big spin heelflip.  On the older ones you had to actually ollie first and then do a 360 flip, which made it look more like an ollie late 360 flip.
