Is it ok that I like these?
I'd say if you're a dedicated Nike head that's fine but if they are not your go to it could be considered weird. What do I know though, I'm just an idiot on a message board.

I used to like these thread and my question fits here, so maybe it's time to revive it.

With the lockdow I started going hiking around with my family because it's the only thing we can do here without many people around.

Im looking for some recommendations for a comfy Trail/hiking low profile shoe. I like the NB Hiero V5 and some Adidas Terrex but I need some pals advice to spend my money wisely.

Thanks!

These in all black or all white are like the go-to 'street-man' shoes where I live. I probably see about a dozen pairs a day, when I leave the house that is of course.

Grabbed these the other day, super comfy. Finally reached the point that I've come to realize it's okay to not constantly wear skate shoes.

I just retifed my 574’s on black/white colorway, so nice shoe. Homie gave me these and I’m super stoked about them, like pillows on my feet and I somehow like that they feel a bit unstable so my ankles have to work more.

What model are these? Been eyeing some asics.
flat spotted 3 times in 2 weeks, other than that awesome wheels

Need opinion on chillers. Leaning towards something from NB camp:
Tiago's vs 990v5 vs 574?

Can’t compare the comfort of a 990 made in USA vs a 574 or a Tiago. Go with the 990. Your knees and back will thank you. You get what you pay for.

Can’t go wrong with the tiagos either. I’ve been skating a pair for a month now, and a lot of the little injuries that were bothering me aren’t now.

I’ve never tried the 990s. Are they as supportive as the tiagos?

Although they’re considered retros and old tech, a dedicated runner is going to have more support than a flat soled skate sneaker.

I used to lift weights and casually wear Vibram Five Fingers (the "toe shoes") back in like 2013 and I fucking loved them. My feet felt incredible but I eventually stopped wearing them because they were so fugly.

Having a bit of renaissance with barefoot shoes now there are 100x more options. Started with some cheap Chinese Whitins to be sure I wanted to do this again. Now I have some Wildlings and some Splays ordered. Enjoying relearning how to walk and run once again.

Anyone into boots? I got some iron rangers and a couple pairs of Thursday captains that I rotate for work.

I have some Alden Indy boots that I wear to work occasionally and out with the wife dressed up a bit. Love them.
A few pairs of Blundstones that I wear pretty regularly, too.
