If I can't get close, it doesn't bother me. It is more tricks I can 90% do or have done for a limited period and now can't put the hammer down on. Frontside big spins are a classic for me.

It frustrates me that I can do 95% of this trick but can not change my approach and dial it.

Think it just comes down to the Cardiel quote of having to "want it"...

yeah that's always a ball bust 360 frip but really tho no ones going to ever be like "holy shit a frontside bigspin" outside of a fucking skatepark AKA a static realm where efemeral skateboard tricks go down.

Cuz, dogg, you're just not smart. Straight up and down. Even on the other side of the world with you two nigs theres STILL magnetic material beneath where you're trying to do your skatey flips/whatever and for countless years we've supported steel rods through alloy'ed trucks and wondered why we don't land something every time. It's just regular.

For me it's mainly two things: For some flat tricks my legs aren't flexible enough. With the more difficult ledge tricks I'm just too much of a pussy to go for it with a clear mind. Ledge tricks is where it's at cause you need to fucking aim that shit or else you'll eat shit.

Yo out of curiosity, what flatland can't you do that you're 100% sure is a "flexibility issue" and for sortof a comparison what flat shit do you have on lock as a matter of fact? Maybe try ur ledge shit on a parking block before you go hurtin urself.

Definitely a lot of the switch frontside flipping stuff, like ss fs heels feel difficult because I can't open up my legs enough. I mean I can land them occasionally (with horrible style), but I can always feel the tension in my hip when I do them. Also hardflips, varial heels, lazerflips, actually everything where you need to open your legs a lot when you flick. I guess I should just stretch more?

Other than those I have a lot of the basic flip tricks on lock (with shitty style :)).

And yeah I agree, parking blocks are the way to learn ledge tricks. But for many tricks I feel it's not necessarily easier when the ledge is super low. Like lately I've been trying to learn switch crooks - it's not easy for me to aim switch. And the slams tend to be pretty brutal when I'm switch and my truck misses the edge.
