I had a pretty sour taste in my mouth after the whole Nate Sherwood debacle in 2011. From what I have seen they've cleaned it up over the past four years. I also skated in a pair of their "Legend" models recently which lasted almost a month using mob. They honestly skated very well and the only things I really disliked was the insoles which I replaced. Plus with their shoes costing $20 a pair and lasting that long my opinion is a bit more favorable of them now.

So far I've had no bad experiences with them at all. I've never seen a pair or would ever consider buying some. They make me chuckle too. What's not to like?

it's surprising to hear that they skate "well" but I'll still never buy a pair purely cause I like the model of shoe I skate and will probably skate it for as long as possible.

I tried on the Brian Sumner shoe when my walmart had it on clearance.It felt like my foot was gonna pop outta the bottom.I wouldn't give airspeed my money at all

Damn these aren't even bad, cheap as fuck too, might have to go for a pair soon, no shoe has lasted much more than a month or so regardless of price so why the f not

edit: lol damn seems the only vegan options are the Duffy shoe and a vans slip on rip, 16 bucks for the slip ons tho

I'm sure they skate fine. Half their shoes look like they'd be decent.
People praise skating in OG Chucks and Authentics all the time, but can't skate these?
If people are gonna hate on them, it shouldn't be because they're bad shoes to skate in, it should be for what they did to Sherwood, and for the simple fact that they're a lame WalMart brand.
Would i ever skate a pair? Probably not.

I was at WalMart the other night and saw the new Pat Duffy shoe. My god they looked like garbage. They felt flimsy as hell and the sole was all felt and was as hard as plastic. I can't believe he would even agree to put his name on that abomination of a shoe.

I bought several pair and with a sharpie I crossed out the "A" and the "rs" so all the logos read "i peed". It made me a real hit on piss night at the bath house.

I had a pair in 2005/06 when they first came out. Saw a thing in Transworld that said you could buy the cheapest skate shoe ever at Wal-Mart and I figured I would give them a shot.

I remember that they felt exactly how I thought a $20 skate shoe would feel like. Kinda stiff with a slightly uncomfortable sole. They lasted a fair amount of time, but I have no desire to try them again.

Nah.

I don't see the point of these as you can buy real skate shoes at Ross/Marshalls/Burlington/Nordstrom Rack, etc for $20-$25. You're not supporting your local shop by getting shoes at those discount spots, but you're also not supporting Walmart.

one time i bought some accel rip offs and the sole was completely solid, it would not slide, when you dragged your foot it would squeak, i somehow did my first kickflip in them so that was a thing, idk how.
