Help me find...

Help me find a deck like this:

It looks like it is just what I am looking for until you look at this image where the shape seems to change:

Square-ish popsicle with a long WB is what I desire! No taper to the nose like all the Black Label shapes.

Check out the Program "Yarn Bard" it's a take off Mike V's Barnyard board.  8.5 and 8.25 square as a popsicle can get

8.25 - http://programskates.bigcartel.com/product/the-victim-8-25
8.5 - http://programskates.bigcartel.com/product/conspire-8-5-various-stains

I won't touch PSStix anymore, so there goes those two options...

Program shape looks on point, though so I might have to try it.

The only non PS one I can think of is the Anit-Hero Miorana shape - http://www.daddiesboardshop.com/anti-hero-miorana-vagrant-history-skateboard-deck-8-47?gclid=CL6O9dGywMgCFUGSfgodAJYMWg

The 8.47 has a long wheelbase (14.5 or 14.75) and they also make it in 8.25 now

Looked at that AH as well, more of a shovel than what I am looking for. I might have to pick up the program and knox and return one and lose a few bucks as none of the shops around here would carry either of those.

I know you're not down with PS but I'm beginning to think their boards vary by company.  Not sure if it has to do with the shape or what but my Sovrn/FA/Quasi boards were really crispy and long lasting.  My Welcome and Plan B boards were not.  I actually just ordered 2 more of the Quasi 8.625 shape.  Hopefully whatever magic they have in them, Program has the same

That's the rub, my habitat was crispy, my lifeblood, not so much (both PSstix).

If local shops carried more than DW/Girl/Baker/Chocolate/blah blah it might be easier to go and check them out.

Driving to Socal takes two hours :\

whats the advantage of a square shape? it just seems like it would have less pop. like a razortail. i recently had a habitaat board that was nearly unskatable, realized it had more of a square shape. idk if it was the shape or just bad wood.

I just want one =D

Unsure how a square tail would have less pop than a round one.

That said, I am leaning towards the Knox only because the nose looks a tiny bit stubbier (and hell it might be China wood but atleast I know it's going to be crispy).

Not sure I agree but the theory might be that there is more surface area hitting the ground spreading the force of your pop wider thus, dampening its effect....  I doubt it means shit to real world application  though

^ I had no idea that shape existed.  Might have glanced at it and assumed it was a normal popsicle

Looks great!

Polar has had that shape out for awhile, but just started offering it in the states.
Shape looks good. I kinda like the squarish nose and tail.

for the for the same reason, right? as you wear the tail down it squares off a bit.

also, by that time, the board has usually become less stiff/ more spongy anyway... i think that actually has more effect on'pop' than tail shape. just guessing here, i'm not a physicist or anything...

That polar one look tits! I'll have to check it out after I beat up the Knox.

The elephant/street plant shapes are so close (as are Black Label and Welcome) but the issue for me is the noses are too tapered, i.e. not wide enough at the tip like a traditional popsicle.

Scumcos, I'd back if they made anything with a larger than 14" WB.

I'm a bit jaded now after seeing that shape, it's exactly what I'm after. Might have to return the knox if it's shape isn't what I'm after when I stand on it.

New Street Plant shape coming out in 2 weeks.  It's going to be full dip and screen printed with a Lance Mountain drawn graphic. Not exactly what you described, but it's hard to find a nose bigger than this one.  I'll probably pick up one of these to replace my Street Axe (which I love)

8.5 x 32 1/4
WB: 14 1/4
N: 7 1/8
T: 6 5/8

That shape looks terrible ;)

The Knox arrived today, sending it back - the tail has a weird taper to it making it not popsicle-like. Going to pick up the Polar.
