BA is one of the best to ever ride a skateboard as a fellow openly tall skateboarder I get extremely hyped when watching any of his footy.

How are you 'openly tall'? Where you ever in the closet tall?
[close]
Yes I was ashamed of being a tall for a long time but since admitting it to my friends/loved ones I feel a sense of freedom I haven't felt since I was a lad.

LOL, Gnar'd Silky!
And the post about the 3 up 3 down line is so true. Fucking love that.

Yo my one friend kinda hides his height, by having super bad posture. He's like six five, but doesn't look it by always kinda crouching over
Art school kids  ??? Too sensitive to stand up straight. He still rips way harder than me tho

I'm six two, and I remember wishing I was shorter in high school, cause it seemed like a lot of the best skaters are on the shorter side, BA and reynolds and some other exceptions excluded.

Bump, but I was watching this montage from "On Tap", and it was too good not to post
Barcellona - On Tap

BA has such stylish footage in it. That fakie nosegrind sw fs shuv at about :28 is so tuff, and he even makes a bs nosegrind bs shuv look cool. Red pants kf nose manual line is too relaxed also.

He can string together pretty lengthy lines too, I'm always surprised when I watch his "SOTY" part, at some of that 3rd and Army stuff

YES! That montage is so good, that line especially, I was thinking of it when I first saw the "suits" skit in PS

I'm remembering a clip from a few years back, possibly one of the Beauty and the Beast things, where he noseslides, boardslides, and bluntslides a rather large, wavy hubba ledge, and all three tricks looked fucking sick.  Anyone wanna post that one up?  I can't find it.

"An ode to Brian Anderson"   - I find that sounds weird.  Perhaps the way skate media processes Brian has changed slightly because its known he's gay now.  Maybe he knows them and helped named the article and I don't know anything ha.

you're looking into it way too hard... it's a BA appreciation vid and that's about all there is to it...

Digi-Montage

last minute or so of this is some of the best BA footage I've seen still. 2011 BA is the best BA imho

I'd say the stretch between Super Champion Fun Zone and that Girl Australia tour was his best years. BA kills regardless though.

Did anybody ever do a gnarlier blunt than that? The next best one was his wavy hubba in yeah right, or maybe some of Heath's. I'm talkin' bs here.

probably chris dobstaff or someone dumb

that wavy one in "yeah right" is great. Such good trick selection for such a cool looking spot, and he did it so nice

That wavy one is here in Sydney.
Go there, that spot is fucked up....so, so much harder to skate than he makes it look.
Hence why you haven't ever seen another trick on it. Ever.

not trying to prove you wrong, just skate nerd stuff

if it is the same spot, it just shows how crazy BA's trick is, cause it's better, and was years earlier

Ha, you cant be blamed for missing it.
It's from a montage in Transworld's 2006 video, "A Time To Shine"

God! The On Tap video was so good. All of Reese's footage, and of course, Brian's.

Baggy pants and Dunk Hi's looked so good.

Because no one has mentioned this one yet, what the hell:
