i was not prepared for this.  heavy as fuck.

the filming and editing are great too.  Looks like LRG knocked another awesome video out of the park

http://www.thrashermagazine.com/articles/videos/carlos-ribeiro-s-1947-part/

Hard to believe companies basically wanted nothing to do with him (CrailTap flow life sentence) for so long. Good on Prod and LRG for hooking him up with companies who were willing to support him

I'm completely floored yet expectant that he would throw something like this at the world. Dudes been at the top top level of technical ability. Been a fan for a minute. Is it safe to say he's about as good as Luan? At least in league with Luan?

This is the best part of the year, imo.  Carlos is hungry and stacking massive nbds, he is the definition of a rookie pro and cannot wait to see more.  That sw flip crook at the macba out ledge is unreal!!! Sw heel bs nose blunt was perfect.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Skateboarding is fucking crazy. I can't believe this stuff is even possible, never mind that it's coming from a guy who just went pro. Switch heelflip bs smith on a goddamn handrail. It must be really stressful trying to come up when you see stuff like this from a guy who has only had a board for about a month.

And about Crailtap purgatory, I can't wait to see Antonio Durao riding for someone else.

Fucking hell.  I had to straight up bust out laughing at the ender.  So much ridiculous shit.  This guy is a maniac.

By the way, the second song reminded me of the first song in Dune's part in Visual Sound.  If that was supposed to be a nod to skate nerds, well done.

That was so fucking sick. He like dipped it and then it went to slow mo and I had no idea he was going to heelflip it out.

This was a great opener. I like how videos do that where the first guy to go is always the new guy that has a stellar part like with Appleyard in Sorry, Biebel in Yeah Right and Mike Mo in Fully Flared.

I really like Luan skate, but I dont understand all the hype about his name. Luan is just a solo tech dude who dont skate on rails or big gaps. You can't compare Luan to Carlos. Ribeiro is the best brazilian skater now, no doubt!

troy ave

I hate Troy Ave but didn't mind that song as much. They gave Asta one of my favorite Roots songs. Here is the tracklisting for people who care:

Intro - 7 Years Of Bad Luck For Fun - Gaslamp Kiler
Carlos: Viking - Troy Ave, Hip Hop Lives At Moles - Jamma De Samba
Curtin: Love Is Gone - Richard Marks, Outcast - Statik Selektah and Ransom
Felipe: Hood Boogers - Statik Selektah
Trent: Keep Me In Mind - Bamboos
Chico: Calle Luna Calle Sol - Willie Colon
Tommy: Lion Dub - 1947 all stars
TX: Street Certified - MOP
Asta: Clones - The Roots, The Imperial (Instrumental) Statik Selektah
Myles: Felix Brothers - Gucci Mane, Lord Pretty Flocko 2 - ASAP Rocky
Credits: Can I Call You Baby - Ebony Rhythm Band

I've been so hyped on Carlos I was afraid that there was no way this part could live up to my expectations.

I guess I have a new favorite skater now.
