Jeans made by skateboard companies are so overpriced. No way in hell am I going to pay $65 for a pair of Volcom jeans or some shit.

I wear Carhartt jeans. Most durable jeans I've ever owned.

True but for the most part I haven't had a pair that I've liked as much as skate brand pants. LRG were the best pretty much, Levi 285s are pretty comfy though.

I think I only have one skate brand shirt, but I have a ton of shop shirts.  I usually only wear those and band shirts.  Other than that I don't really have much other stuff. A couple hats I got from my friends company, and a pair of huf socks (not weed socks) from a friend who gets flowed shit. And I basically just wear dickies.

It's weird, I never used to wear skate clothes but in the last year or so I've started to. I like wearing shop clothes, it's a good way to rep cities and support shops. Have a few Palace shirts as well.

When I first started skating I wore skate clothes, but then quickly felt uncomfortable wearing them when I'd go out for a session - like I wasn't worthy to be wearing them since I really couldn't do much. Or that I was trying to look like I was sponsored. Or they'd get weird looks and questions, like with a Ghetto Child tee I wore. I would rarely wear them as a result. Then when I would get older, I wore plain, inexpensive gear. I just don't care now, or maybe I'm comfortable enough with my skill set.

I don't necessarily think this is a bad thing. I think as long as you can appreciate a company, you should rep it if you want to.
You think he just rolled out of bed and b/s 360 mannied the roselyn banks?
