I've skated them since I first found out about them, they are  significantly lighter than stock plates and with with the trim ACE hanger (and if you are going deep, get the Krux hollow kingpin when you set them up for an even lighter build).

Thanks for the input. I decided not to go with them as the softer magnesium would be more prone to cracking. Talked to someone with Ace and they said this was the reason they stopped making them.

Ace is simply distributed through Diamond. I'm sure it's easier this way since it's his brother's company. The image and overall vibe of Ace is the absolute opposite of Diamond's "swag" bullshit. Stranger would have nothing to do with it, along with many other gnarly pro's if it was holding onto that kind of image. The trucks are quality.
