Not many knows though. Here he is, playing Rachmaninoff�s demanding Piano Concerto Number 3, known to drive pianist to and beyond the edge of insanity.
Heath did move to Copenhagen through a period of three years, to study Rachmaninoff's works. Living in the very same apartment as the Rachmaninoff family, Heaths intense study would lead him to the edge of madness, which then lead him back into skateboarding, filming his well known retirement part, wearing all white. This part would be the final mark of Heaths career both as a professional skateboarder and musician.
Being a talent in times, I'm amazed how Heath has managed to stay sane to this day, knowing how he has been pushing the limits of what's possible both in the world of skateboarding and managing to convey what's recognized being some of the most intense and authentic performances of Rachmaninoff's works.
